Travelling by Tram
Nottingham Express Transit operate the Tram Service which has a station at Basford for services to the City Centre, Bulwell, Beeston, Clifton, Hucknall and Phoenix Park and Ride. Services are fast and frequent 7 days a week. For full information visit their website.  Please note that Nottingham City Transport Day Tickets are not valid on the tram network.
 
Travelling by Train
The nearest mainline railway station is Nottingham Station. The local Robin Hood Line does go through the area where the nearest station is at Bulwell for services to Hucknall, Mansfield and Worksop as well as Nottingham. For timetables and fares visit the National Rail website. The main operators of services are East Midlands Trains (soon to be East Midlands Railway) and CrossCountry.   Tickets can be bought from Trainline.

There are two main hospitals in Nottingham both now part of the combined Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The Queens Medical Centre Campus (located on Derby Road) is the main emergency hospital in the area. The Nottingham City Campus does not have any emergency facilities.
